L. Mawby Update: A Word from Larry

Our favorite snack from Michigan's L. Mawby winery

Hello Wine Aficionados -

2008 harvest is complete. The word: nice quality, good quantity. Tasting just completed fermentations, I’m excited about the clean fruit flavors and crisp acids. Wonderful wines to make bubbly.

Sandpiper from these 2008 wines will be coming in late December, with other wines to follow. Of course, the bottle fermented wines from this harvest will be showing up in 3 or more years.

Meanwhile, the 2002 Mille has finally been released. Fizz club members got the wine shipped to them a couple of weeks ago. It is available in the tasting room now. The website does show it, with the wrong bottle photo [oh, well], and you can purchase it from the website.

We are temporarily out of US, FIZZ and Sandpiper [next batches ready by mid to late December], and permanently out of Redd.

So what else is new? We are working on plans for next summer’s picnics. Hope to have a schedule by late January. We’ll let you know when we do.

Happy Holidays.

Bye for now,

Larry
