View 2013 Food & Wine Pairings

The weekend starts on Saturday as you head to your first winery stop to collect your souvenir glass. Then spend the weekend enjoying special pours and sweet or savory food pairings at our wineries between the hours of 11am and 5pm on Saturday and Noon and 5pm on Sunday.

Join us at The Homestead – Friday February 1st

If you want to add a little more fun to your weekend, on Friday night (Feb 1) at Mountain Flowers Lodge from 6-8pm, the The Homestead and Glen Arbor Art Association will be hosting “Art from Michigan’s Wine Country.” Art will be on display and for sale from member artists.

To purchase tickets in advance call The Homestead 231-334-5100. The price is $20 per person in advance or $25 at the door, which includes one glass of wine and food stations with delectable small plates. Additional wine available for $4/glass or three glasses for $10. Also $5 from every ticket will be donated to the Glen Arbor Art Association scholarship and free after-school art programs for students.

To add to the weekend’s festivities, several of our wineries will hold special events and activities exclusively for “Taste the Passion” ticket holders to celebrate the beauty and fun to be had in this winter wonderland. They are sure to provided countless photo opportunities – check some from past years out in the video above and stay tuned for a listing in January.

Be sure to check out some of the food offerings and activities that await you along the trail!

Tickets are just $30 and quantities are limited. We encourage you to secure yours as soon as possible as most of our trail events do sell out. Please note that Willow will not be participating in Taste the Passion 2013.

If you are traveling with a group, you will all want select the same starting winery. Be aware that tickets are limited at each winery, so purchase early if the starting location is important to you.

In addition to regular ticket sales, participating lodging partners offered a limited number of special accommodation packages that included a ticket to the trail event.
