From the Silver Leaf Vineyard & Winery website:
Silver Leaf Vineyard & Winery was founded in 2005 by Patti and Mark Carlson and opened on September 6th, 2008.
Located just north and west of Suttons Bay, the 30 acre estate is nestled among cherry and apple orchards where the vineyard is planted in rich loamy soil with a gentle slope on high ground. The tasting room opens to a deck through double French doors where there are tree-top level views overlooking scenic Leelanau County.
Our goal is to produce exceptional wines through small batch fermentation and attention to detail with a passion for rustic elegance and to share our experience with our friends and guests.

Hubby and I just got home from Toast the Season! Third time for me and a first for him – we had a wonderful time! How DID you get the weather to cooperate so well?? Aside from tight parking at a couple locations the wineries did just an incredible job of accomadating the crowds. We were greeted warmly and welcomed at every location! The food pairings and pours were all top notch and we brought home several new bottles for ourselves as well as several for gifts. Thank you LPVA for sponsoring this event and to all the members for supporting it!
