Back by popular demand: Sips & Soups is returning for another cozy winter weekend! Even better, we added an extra day! Now you can enjoy the festivities Friday-Sunday.Â
Sips & Soups is a heartwarming winter tradition on the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail, where the cozy comforts of homemade soups meet the elegance of local wines. As you make your way from winery to winery, you’ll be treated to creative soup recipes crafted to complement a carefully selected wine at each stop. From creamy chowders and rich stews to light, savory broths, every pairing is designed to highlight the unique character of both the soup and the wine, creating a delicious and memorable tasting experience.
The scenic winter beauty of the Leelanau Peninsula provides the perfect backdrop for this flavorful adventure. Snow-dusted vineyards, rolling hills, and the sparkling waters of Lake Michigan add a touch of magic to your journey, while the warm hospitality of each tasting room ensures you feel welcome and relaxed. Whether you’re sipping a robust red alongside a hearty chili or enjoying a crisp white with a fresh, herb-infused bisque, every stop offers a new flavor to savor.
Perfect for a winter day out with friends, a cozy date, or simply as a way to indulge in the season’s best flavors, Sips & Soups is a celebration of local wine, comforting cuisine, and the joy of slowing down to enjoy both. By the end of your tour, you’ll leave not just with a satisfied palate, but also with memories of shared laughs, scenic views, and the warmth of the Leelanau wine community.
