Black Star Farms is a destination offering visitors a variety of distinctive choices, showcasing Leelanau Peninsula’s rich heritage and agricultural abundance. World-class products and services including premium vinifera wines and fruit brandies, hand-crafted cheese, an all-season B&B Inn, a championship equestrian facility and recreational trails provide guests a full sensory experience.
We are a small winery with a hand-crafted approach to winemaking. Fine wines require patience, attention to the vines and fruit and to processing. Respect for traditional winemaking and the opportunities in our emerging wine region are also vital. Our wines reflect this care from the premium Arcturos, A Cappella, and Leorie Vineyards varietals to our Sparkling Wine and Sirius Dessert Wines. Many are award winners and all represent the best efforts of our skilled winemaking team.
Open daily at Black Star Farms, our main tasting room offers tastings of our wines and fruit brandies, unique gifts and Leelanau Cheese.
