Come taste our fresh wine and cider, walk through our vines, say hello to our animals, and stay for an experience that you will not find anywhere. Once you turn onto Engles Road and wind through lush pasture to our farm, you will be transported to Leelanau County and Traverse Wine Coast’s best-kept secret.

The vineyard, the orchard, the livestock, the wildlife, the forest, and our family are all one living organism who constitutes our farm. By using sustainable, integrated, and organic practices, we are taking responsibility for the long term viability of the whole.

Our tasting room is located amongst a 15 acre farm on the Leelanau Peninsula. We are two miles south of the picturesque waterfront community of Northport. Come visit the tasting room to try our estate-grown wines, handcrafted hard ciders or to pick up some pastured eggs and organic veggies.

Reservations are not required though we do recommend calling ahead if your group is larger than 6 to confirm availability. Please note that in order to preserve the atmosphere we cherish at Green Bird we only allow tour buses/vans during regular business hours by appointment. We do not accept drop-in tour buses/vans.
